Wieso Architektur für Kinder?
2007 fand in Basel / St. Johann das Projekt „Airtrain – Mobile Architektur“ statt. Ein riesiger Dom spannte sich über einen Sandplatz und beherbergte einen Sommer lang ein vielfältiges kulturelles Programm. Neben dem Dom lag ein bracher Steinplatz, etwa 150 auf 20m gross. Er konnte frei genutzt werden und wir veranstalteten dort zwei Projektwochen „Architektur für Kinder“, betreut von Elisabeth Gaus, Annatina Caprez, Monika Klingele und Gerhard Weber. Diese Erfahrung gibt dieser Seite den Namen.
In 2007, "Airtrain - Mobile Architecture" took place in Basel / St. Johann. A huge dome spanned a sand square and hosted a diverse cultural program for one summer. Next to the dome was an vacant stone lot, about 150 by 20m. It could be used freely and we - together with Elisabeth Gaus, Annatina Caprez, Monika Klingele and Gerhard Weber - organized two "Architecture for Children" project weeks there. This experience gives this site its name.
